Our nation prospers because we allow free men and women to use their talents and fulfill their dreams. When government constructs obstacles and barriers to enterprise and job creation we all suffer. We should do everything in our power to make it easier for hard-working men and women to build and grow their businesses.

Reducing Red-Tape, Helping Employers:

The first contact new businesses have with government is through the Secretary of State's office. No job should be delayed because employers are drowning in red tape and paperwork. I'll work to make it simpler and less costly for new employers to get started.

Additionally, the Secretary of State has oversight of the rule making powers of state agencies, especially over emergency rule making. I'll ensure that state agencies do not abuse their regulatory powers to stifle Missouri businesses and employers.

Securities:

We've seen just how disastrous predatory investment and lending practices can be to our families and economy. I'll utilize the Secretary of State's regulatory authority to protect Missouri families from fraudulent investments and securities.
