Rep. Rich Nugent (FL-05) announced today that his office will be accepting submissions for this year's Angels in Adoption program:
"Right now, tens of thousands of children in this country are waiting to be adopted, and for far too many, that day will never come. Every day, children in this country age out of the adoption system. And given that fact, we need to be doing everything we can to support the important work that is being done in the area of adoption.
"Florida, in particular, has led the nation in improving the adoption process and I look forward to having the opportunity to highlight the work of one of our local adoption heroes."
Anyone who is interested in nominating an individual or organization should submit a letter to the Congressman's Brooksville Office located at 16224 Spring Hill Dr., Brooksville, FL 34604 explaining their reasons for the nomination.
