Today, Assemblymember Jared Huffman announced the endorsement of the largest labor federation in the state, the California Labor Federation (CLF). The CLF is made up of more than 1,200 AFL-CIO and Change to Win unions, representing 2.1 million union members in manufacturing, retail, construction, hospitality, public sector, health care, entertainment, and other industries. In January, Huffman earned the regional support of the North Bay Labor Council, AFL-CIO.

"Jared Huffman is a proven champion for working families, economic growth, and job creation. In a crowded field of candidates he is the one who has put his values in to action and created real results," said Art Pulaski, California State Labor Federation.

Huffman, who has a career 97% voting record from Labor (one of the highest in the Assembly), is a leading candidate in the race for California's 2nd Congressional District and has secured most of the key labor endorsements.

"I am extremely proud to have the endorsement of the California Labor Federation and the over 2 million hard working Californians they represent," said Huffman. "In Congress, I will continue to fight for the needs of working families and support policies that create quality jobs in California."

Huffman has now earned the endorsement of over 20 local, state, and national unions representing thousands of workers up and down the 2nd Congressional District in a broad range of professions.
