Today, the Morristown Tea Party officially endorsed Joe Kyrillos for United States Senate at their third anniversary event.

"We are pleased and privileged to officially endorse Senator Joe Kyrillos for the United States Senate," said Morristown Tea Party President Jeffery Weingarten. "Joe will not only be a great U.S. Senator who brings an admirable record of fiscal conservatism, but he will be a man of strength and character. The Morristown Tea Party stands behind Senator Kyrillos one hundred percent, and we pledge to do everything we can through the election to send him to Washington, D.C."

"I am honored to have the support of the Morristown Tea Party in my race against Bob Menendez for the U.S. Senate," said Kyrillos. "The Morristown Tea Party is a group of civic-minded people who want to right-size the government and restore fiscal sanity. Those are certainly ideals that I can support. I will work tirelessly on behalf of the citizens of New Jersey to unseat Bob Menendez and bring "good-government' policies, like the ones we have established here in New Jersey, to Washington, D.C."

Kyrillos has also been endorsed by Governor Chris Christie, and the Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, and Union County Republican Organizations.

Senator Joseph M. Kyrillos, Jr., 51, is married to Susan Doctorian Kyrillos and they live in Middletown with their children Max and Georgia. He began serving New Jersey's 13th Legislative District in 1988 when he was elected to the General Assembly. After spending two terms in the Assembly he was elected to the Senate where he has served since 1993. In addition to his official duties, the Senator is employed as Senior Managing Director of Colliers International, the commercial real estate services firm with offices in New York and Parsippany. He is also an advisor to the Newport Capital Group in Red Bank, NJ.
