Today, the Warren County Republican Committee endorsed State Senator Joe Kyrillos for the U.S. Senate. Kyrillos continues to lock up support across the Garden State.
Warren County Republican Committee Chairman Doug Steinhardt said: "State Senator Joe Kyrillos has proved during his tenure as a state legislator that he will make the necessary tough decisions to put our county back on the path to prosperity. He will not continue to kick the can down the road as Senator Bob Menendez has done over the last six years. He will bring proven conservative ideals to the U.S. Senate- making sound fiscal decisions, and addressing our national debt and deficit. We are proud to stand behind Senator Kyrillos and know that he has what it takes to remove Democratic incumbent Bob Menendez from Washington."
"I am honored to have the support of the Warren County Republican Committee," said Senator Kyrillos. "Our campaign is gaining serious momentum and as I speak with New Jerseyans across the state, the message is clear: we can no longer afford Senator Menendez's record of more taxes, more spending and more job-killing regulation. Warren County residents and all of New Jersey's citizens need and deserve a change in Washington. It has been an honor to work alongside Governor Chris Christie and like-minded reformers to turn New Jersey's economy around -- I will take that same conservative leadership to Washington in November. We need to get our national debt under control, jump start our economy to create jobs and get people back to work. We have proven that strong leadership in New Jersey is working, and I look forward to proving the same in our nation's capital."
Kyrillos has also been endorsed by Governor Chris Christie, and the Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Monmouth, Ocean, Passaic, Salem, Somerset, Sussex, and Union County Republican Organizations.
Senator Joseph M. Kyrillos, Jr., 51, is married to Susan Doctorian Kyrillos and they live in Middletown with their children Max and Georgia. He began serving New Jersey's 13th Legislative District in 1988 when he was elected to the General Assembly. After spending two terms in the Assembly he was elected to the Senate where he has served since 1993. In addition to his official duties, the Senator is employed as Senior Managing Director of Colliers International, the commercial real estate services firm with offices in New York and Parsippany. He is also an advisor to the Newport Capital Group in Red Bank, NJ.
