Leader Cantor Statement on the Domestic Energy and Jobs Act

Today, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) released the following statement highlighting the Domestic Energy and Jobs Act, a package of seven domestic energy production bills that Whip McCarthy and the House Energy Action Team unveiled today:

"Thousands of jobs have been lost as a result of the President's energy policies. Today, we unveiled our pro-growth energy package that will develop our nation's energy resources, help create thousands of jobs and boost economic growth. I thank Whip McCarthy, Chairman Upton, Chairman Hastings, Congressman Mike Coffman, Congressman Cory Gardner, Congressman Bill Johnson, Congressman Doug Lamborn, Congressman Scott Tipton, and Congressman Ed Whitfield, as well as the entire House Energy Action Team, for their work on these measures that will boost energy production here at home."
