Congressman Steve Stockman's re-election campaign was endorsed Tuesday by yet another national pro-gun group as he has surged to the lead in the May 29 election.

"Steve Stockman has been a genuine hero for gun owners. NAGR-PAC is proud to endorse his re-election and be a part of Team Stockman," declared Dudley Brown, NAGR-PAC director for the National Association for Gun Rights.

"I am proud to be called The Most Pro-Gun Congressman in Texas," said Congressman Stockman. "It drives the New York liberals nuts. My 100% pro-gun record is why they have targeted me for defeat on May 29, and it's why I will win."

"The National Association for Gun Rights is one of the newest, most effective and fastest-growing national pro-gun advocates. I am proud to have the support of their members here in Southeast Texas," said Congressman Stockman. "I am also endorsed by Gun Owners of America and the National Rifle Association has rated me A+. I voted against every gun ban scheme, led the fight against gun-grabbing radicals and even introduced legislation to repeal anti-gun laws."

"I'm also proud to be targeted for defeat by gun-grabbers like Sarah Brady."

Stockman also has perfect, 100% pro-gun lifetime ratings from every gun group.

Congressman Stockman is the only candidate in the 36th Congressional District Republican primary endorsed by pro-gun groups. No other candidate has been endorsed by any national pro-gun groups.

Stockman also has the support of Second Amendment advocate and rock legend Ted Nugent.

The 36th District covers all of Chambers, Liberty, Hardin, Orange, Newton, Jasper, Tyler and Polk County, and the southeastern portion of Harris County including Baytown, Pasadena and the Johnson Space Center.
