Governor Bobby Jindal urged Louisianians to get a game plan for the 2012 Hurricane Season, which begins today and ends November 30.
Governor Jindal said, "Every year experts provide a forecast on the number of named storms we can expect, but we know that it takes just one storm to have an impact. That's why we always hope for the best and prepare for the worst no matter what the forecast shows. Even before the start of Hurricane Season this year, we've already seen some activity that shows that we cannot take our preparations for granted. I am urging all Louisianians to have a game plan ready for their families before a storm threatens our coast."
