Costello Announces General Dynamics Receives Army Contract

U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Inc., located in Marion, has been awarded a $14,763,572.11 contract by the U.S. Army. The contract is for the procurement of 30mm M788 target practice cartridges and 25mm projectile gun unit 23/U target practice cartridges. The work will be performed in Marion.

"This is important work that supports our armed forces and the economy in Southern Illinois," said Costello. "I will continue to support these efforts."
