Congressman Barrow to Open New Statesboro Office

Press Release

Date: June 1, 2012
Issues: Veterans

Congressman John Barrow (GA-12) will open a new office in Statesboro to increase constituent access to Congressman Barrow and his staff. The official opening will be announced at an open house at the office location at the Statesboro City Hall on East Main Street on Friday, May 25, from 3:00pm -- 5:00pm.

"You shouldn't have to travel a long distance to meet your Congressman and get the help you need," said Congressman Barrow. "That's why I have Congressional offices all across the district I represent. I have great people working for the folks I represent, and the new Statesboro District Office will make it much easier for us to meet with a whole lot more people where they live."

Congressman Barrow's staff is available and well-trained to help residents of the 12th Congressional District with issues from all federal agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Internal Revenue Service, the Social Security Administration, and the USDA. Last year, Congressman Barrow and his staff obtained over $3.7 million in benefits that were wrongfully denied or withheld from constituents.
