As Lt. Governor, Judy would serve as the official Senior Advocate for the State of Missouri, and there's no one who is better prepared for that responsibility.

Throughout her career, Judy's been keenly aware that Missouri has a growing senior population, and today's seniors are living healthier, more active lives than ever before.

And they want that to continue.

That's why Judy has consistently fought to ensure that Missouri seniors have quality health care options at an affordable price. She's fought to make sure that seniors have the community resources to maintain their independence--to have the support they need to live in their homes and contribute to their communities for as long as possible.

Judy spent nearly two years working with aging agencies all over the state of Missouri to ensure that they become an even more valuable resource to seniors hoping to remain independent.

But Judy knows there's more to be done. She knows that we have to take steps to organize communities and health care around the needs of Missouri's aging baby boomers--so they can continue to lead independent lives for many years--and keep contributing to Missouri's economy.

And Judy knows we have to find ways to address the coming healthcare workforce shortage to ensure that seniors get the high quality healthcare they need and deserve.

She's made that work a priority for her entire career, and she would continue it as Lt. Governor.
