My campaign has released its first television ad of the primary season entitled "Opportunities" today.
The spot focuses on my background, being born into poverty and having successful careers as a scientist, inventor, and small businessman.
I am a citizen‐legislator running for re‐election to ensure that future generations are afforded the same opportunities for success I had. I will continue the fight to repeal ObamaCare, pass a balanced budget amendment and achieve energy independence. I believe in fiscal discipline, reigning in government spending and balancing the budget are the keys to job creation and improving our economy.
The ad points out my record as a fiscal conservative, leading fight to end automatic pay raises for members of Congress and giving a portion of my pay to fund college scholarships for underprivileged students.
