The National Association for Gun Rights, a national gun rights grassroots organization, has endorsed Thomas Massie for United States Congress. Under its mission statement, the National Association for Gun Rights is a "civil rights advocacy organization designed to educate gun owners about state and federal legislation that affects their gun rights."

"I am proud to receive the National Association of Gun Rights' endorsement. I will work vigorously to defend the rights of gun owners. The Right to Keep and Bear Arms is not principally about hunting or recreation. In fact, the Second Amendment to our Constitution is our Founding Fathers' restatement of our natural God given right to defend life, liberty, and property." Massie said.

Massie's other conservative endorsements include Club for Growth, Congressman Ron Paul, Louisville TEA Party, and Young Americans for Liberty -- PAC.

Thomas Massie, 41, holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. He is an award winning inventor, successful businessman, and farmer. Currently he serves as Judge Executive in Lewis County where he lives with his wife and four children on their family farm.
