Second District Congressman Tim Griffin today announced his fundraising totals for the first quarter of 2012, collecting $226,424.21 in receipts and bringing his total to $1,148,223.62 with $577,866.81 cash-on-hand for his 2012 re-election bid.
"I am very thankful for the generosity of my supporters. Their help allows me to continue my fight to change Washington at its core and be the voice of hard working Arkansas taxpayers who want government to live within its means, pass a budget and create an environment where the private sector creates jobs for Arkansas workers," Griffin said. "I will continue to fight for common sense solutions that promote private sector jobs whether they come from the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline or from the 28 other jobs bills we have passed in the House but today are stacked up like cord wood in the Senate."
For the first quarter, 88% of Griffin's donations came from Arkansans.
