U.S. Congressman Mike Pence, Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Middle East and South Asia of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, voted today in support of H.R. 4133, the United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012. This legislation affirms the United States' commitment to the defense of Israel. H.R. 4133 passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 411 to 2.
"The United States knows no greater friend than Israel," said Pence. "The passage of the United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act on an overwhelming, bipartisan basis puts the world on notice that above all else, we will stand with our most cherished ally. This legislation renews the United States' commitment to the safety and security of the State of Israel, and I wholeheartedly support its passage."
