On Wednesday, the House overwhelmingly passed The United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act by a vote of 411 to 2. I am proud to have voted for and cosponsored this legislation that reaffirms and enhances our nation's commitment to Israel's security. Israel is one of our nation's closest allies, and, with persistent uncertainty in the Middle East, it is important we support Israel's right to defend itself. Congress stands united with Israel as it works towards lasting peace and security for its people.
