Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA-09) released the following statement today, after voting for HR 4133, the United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012. HR 4133 reaffirms the stalwart historic relationship between the two countries and strengthens security cooperation between the United States and Israel. The bill also reaffirms America's commitment to Israel's security and supports Israel's right to self-defense, while reiterating the United States' commitment to the security of Israel as a Jewish state.
"The United States and Israel have an unbreakable bond. During this turbulent time in the Middle East, it is important make sure our friends in Israel have no doubt about our commitment to their security and our support for a peaceful, secure future. I am glad to know there is widespread bipartisan support in reaffirming our strong ties to Israel."
