Linda Sánchez Celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

Congresswoman Linda Sánchez (CA-39) released the following statement today in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month:

"I am incredibly proud to represent cities that are known throughout Southern California for their prominent Asian Pacific American communities," said Congresswoman Sánchez. "During Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, I congratulate all Asian Pacific Americans for their past contributions and continued achievements. I hope we can all take some time this month to honor and recognize their contributions to the diverse cultural fabric of our country."

Congresswoman Sánchez is one of 11 new members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC). Comprised of 30 congressional members, the caucus works to ensure that the concerns and needs of the Asian American Pacific Island (AAPI) community are addressed at the national level.
