This week I joined my House colleagues in passing The Small Business Tax Cut Act, a bill that would provide a 20 percent tax deduction for businesses with less than 500 employees. Small businesses are the drivers of economic recovery and job creation in America. This much-needed legislation would free up capital for more than 2 million Texas small businesses to hire new workers and make valuable investments in our communities. Coupled with the recently-passed JOBS Act, the House continues to fight for pro-growth solutions to get Americans back to work.
