Led efforts to request Army officials recognize the more than 350 U.S. soldiers that were captured during WWII at the Battle of the Bulge and sent to a Nazi prison labor camp at Berga, Germany. The U.S. Army recently recognized these soldiers for their courage and heroic service to the United States.
