Today, State Treasurer Josh Mandel toured Delta Systems Inc. and The Shelly Company to discuss his pro-jobs, pro-manufacturing, and pro-energy agenda for Ohio.
With over 200 full-time employees, Delta Systems Inc. has provided design and manufacturing solutions for switches, electronics, and wireless control systems for more than forty years. The Shelly Company is a leading supplier of aggregates, asphalt, and ready-mix concrete and paving services in the United States that employs more than 1,000 workers a year.
During his visits, Treasurer Mandel focused on the need to stop unnecessary regulations coming out of Washington that are hurting manufacturing and production companies across our state. Josh is committed to getting the federal government out of the way of business in order to put middle class families back to work.
"We don't want manufacturers here in Ohio needlessly hiring an army of lawyers, accountants and compliance officers in an effort to obey burdensome regulations instead of hiring men and women who can actually make goods and products to be sold throughout America and the world," said Treasurer Josh Mandel, Republican Candidate for U.S. Senate. "Politicians in Washington continue to fail us. Over the past decade we've lost more than 500,000 jobs here in Ohio and we've lost about 3,500 factories. We can't keep sending the same people to Washington and expect different results. If we want to change Washington, we have to change the people we're sending there."
