100% Score from the Alliance for Retired Americans

Issues: Senior Citizens Entitlements and the Safety Net Health Insurance

I was recently awarded a 100% score on the Alliance for Retired Americans' 2011 Congressional voting scorecard and a 98% lifetime score!

We see time and time again that if we don't stay vigilant against attacks on Medicare and Social Security, House Republicans will chip away at these vital programs -- or even worse try to destroy them all together. We cannot balance the budget on the backs of our seniors, especially when Congress won't even close loopholes for the big oil companies. I'm proud to be recognized for standing up for retired Americans!
