Statement

U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released the following statement regarding the expected purchase of the Trainer refinery by Delta Airlines:

"The expected purchase of the Trainer refinery by Delta Airlines is a major victory for our workers and the Pennsylvania economy. Retaining this facility as a refinery is a big win for everyone involved. I was pleased to have the opportunity to work with Delta and ConocoPhillips throughout this process. I was impressed both by Delta's forward-thinking management style and its innovative approach to current market realities. I was also happy to have the opportunity to work with Governor Corbett and the entire Pennsylvania delegation in the interest of the Commonwealth and look forward to assisting Delta in this new venture."
