Price Statement on the 64th Anniversary of Israel's Independence

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Tom Price, M.D. (R-GA) issued the following statement in recognition of Israel's 64th anniversary as an independent nation.
"Israel is America's strongest ally. Our two nation's have an historic and strategic relationship that has stood the test of time," said Chairman Price. "In the face of near constant threat, the Israeli people have remained a strong symbol of democracy in an area of the world struggling to find peace and an end to tyranny. The United States must continue to demonstrate our steadfast commitment to Israel and the quest for an end to the decade upon decade of violence in the region. We congratulate Israel on this anniversary and stand with our ally today and every day."
