One of the two public trustees of the Medicare and Social Security programs released a new analysis this week showing how the President's health care law will increase the federal deficit in the coming decade. Dr. Charles Blauhous is a professor at George Mason University and served in both the executive and legislative branches. He estimates that the Affordable Care Act will add at least $340 billion and as much as $530 billion to federal deficits. The law also increases spending by more than $1.15 trillion in the same period.
