Our nation is presently confronted by a fourteen trillion dollar debt and an annual deficit well over a trillion dollars. A clear majority of the American people understand that this fiscal path is unsustainable and must be confronted in a meaningful way rather than simply at the margins.
For anyone who is truly concerned about our children and their future prosperity, the time is now for us to get control over our government's finances in a responsible manner so that we do not become a permanent debtor nation that will greatly diminish their opportunity for success.
