On Wednesday, I attended the ribbon cutting for American Computer Development Incorporated's (ACDi) new facility in Nashville, NC. ACDI's expansion will allow them to add over 20 new manufacturing jobs to their current workforce of 50 employees - bringing an important boost to our local economy.
This is just a small example of the shared success that our private sector can create for the local economy and the reason I am working hard to protect it. One of my top priorities in Congress has been to pass legislation that encourages small business growth and expansion to promote an environment in which more companies can create jobs in North Carolina. I will not rest until we are successful and can enjoy sustainable job creation.
