Issue Position: Dear Fellow Americans

Dear Fellow Americans:

For the first time in the history of this great country, Americans are no longer certain we will leave a better life for our children than the one we inherited. It's a shame -- and we know who's to blame.
We remain a faithful, hopeful and resourceful people. Unfortunately, our leaders don't measure up. Washington is overrun with lifelong, self-serving politicians who routinely run up our debt while they focus on running their next campaign. Special interests and their lobbyists have hijacked our legislative process for their own gain, while the American Dream is left to wither and die.

It can change… if we change the people we send to serve.
At the urging of many longtime friends and neighbors, I am offering myself for public service as a first-time candidate for elected office. I want to rebuild the dreams and the values that were a part of my life and allowed me to climb the ladder of success. I want to be the kind of Citizen Congressman our Founding Fathers envisioned.

Simply, as I did in the business world, I want to help turn America around.

Sincerely,

Brian Owens
