Today, Congressman Blake Farenthold voted for the Path to Prosperity Budget. He had the following comments:
"Our country has been operating without a budget for over 1000 days. If a family functioned the way the government does without a budget, it would be disastrous. House Republicans have answered the call for common sense solutions, offering a budget that will restore economic freedom, reform our broken tax code, promote an all of the above energy approach and strengthen health and retirement security. The Path to Prosperity means a government that works harder and smarter for the American taxpayer, restoring much needed accountability to Washington."
