Marchant Applauds Introduction of The Small Business Tax Cut Act

Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Kenny Marchant (TX-24) today applauded the introduction of the Small Business Tax Cut Act authored by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. The legislation gives small businesses with less than 500 employees a 20% tax cut.

"The Small Business Tax Cut Act is much-needed and timely legislation that will help small businesses grow and create jobs. At a time when the private sector is struggling to regain its footing in the economy, this bill will help small businesses hire new workers and make investments that will lead to sustained economic growth and prosperity. This legislation, along with the recently-passed JOBS Act, will continue the House's effort to remove barriers to private sector job creation which includes lowering taxes and easing the regulatory burden. I look forward to working with Majority Leader Cantor and my Ways and Means Committee colleagues to pass this vital legislation and hope that both chambers will move promptly to send this bill to the President's desk."
