Rep. Miller: Focusing On JOBS to Boost Small Business and Entrepreneurs

U.S. Representative Candice Miller (MI-10) today praised the overwhelmingly bipartisan passage of the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act. This legislation is a compilation of bipartisan House bills that will provide real solutions to encourage job growth by removing regulations impeding small businesses and startups. This bipartisan measure will increase capital formation, spur the growth of startups and small businesses and pave the way for more small-scale businesses to go public and create more jobs.

"The JOBS Act provides our nation's up-and-coming inventors, entrepreneurs and small businesses with the tools they need to take their ideas and make them grow," Rep. Miller said. "House Republicans have been keenly focused on assisting American job creators with access to capital and other tools to provide them what they need to keep hiring and growing our economy all across our country. The JOBS Act combines common sense measures to reduce regulations and directly assist our small businesses and start-ups to see jobs created in America again."
