Oil, gas and nuclear energy production and use should be our focus as they will produce the lowest cost energy for our homes, factories, businesses and governmental needs. Other alternative energies are nearly four times the cost of these three and are not competitive. Use of alternatives now drives the cost of energy up (have you checked gasoline and electricity prices lately). We can continue to conduct research in alternatives until they achieve parity in costs with oil, gas and nuclear and are ready to enter the market place on a competitive basis. Until then we must drill for oil and gas and construct nuclear plants in the United States.
