U.S. Congresswoman Nan Hayworth, M.D. (NY-19) delivered the following remarks during a press conference with fellow House Republicans today to unveil The Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act:

"This bill will truly transform the business climate in ways that we desperately need. I represent the Hudson Valley of New York, and we have folks that this legislation will affect directly. NY BioHud Valley is working to grow biotech companies right in the Hudson Valley. They are creating life-saving, job-creating innovations, and the JOBS Act will provide them the fuel they need to grow. This is what America is about -- our entrepreneurs, innovators, all of the people who create and innovate, and all of the people who desperately need jobs and will have many more opportunities because of this Act. I thank President Obama for his support, and I am confident that the bill will pass through the House expeditiously with our support."
