U.S. Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH), chairman of the Ways & Means Subcommittee on Select Revenue Measures, released the following statement regarding President Obama's tax reform proposal:
"I welcome President Obama's involvement in the tax reform discussion and appreciate his proposal as a step in the process of overhauling our tax system. It's important to remember that corporate tax reform is one piece of the puzzle. Comprehensive tax reform will help our economy be more competitive and less burdensome for families and small business. Certainty for small business owners will help them grow, expand, and hire. I look forward to continuing the process of reforming out tax system and look forward to working with Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp as we move forward. I hope President Obama will join us as discussion continues."
