US Representative Sue Myrick (NC-09) has released the following statement in response to President Obama's FY 2013 Budget request:
"Today, the White House released the President's budget request for fiscal year 2013. Unfortunately, President Obama's budget proposal adds $11 trillion to the national debt, hides spending increases with unrealistic assumptions about future economic growth, and never, ever envisions a time when our budget will balance. The American people deserve better and I look forward to working with my colleagues to pass a budget that works for the American taxpayer, and puts us on a path to prosperity.
