House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) released the following statement on reports that one of the chief architects of the President's health care law now says Americans will see their premiums increase as a result of ObamaCare:
"President Obama forced his healthcare bill through Congress based on the promise that the law would make healthcare more affordable for all Americans. This weekend one of the chief architects of ObamaCare spelled out what we've known since the law passed two years ago: Americans will pay more for health care than they did before the law passed. From ObamaCare's false savings to the increased burdens on small businesses, it clear that the prospect of lower health costs is just one more broken promise from the President and his Administration. House Republicans will continue to work to repeal this harmful law and replace it with common sense, patient-centered solutions that lower costs and increase access to care."
