Miller Statement on President Obama's Disapproval of the Keystone Pipeline

Statement

Date: Jan. 18, 2012
Location: Washington, DC

"I am extremely disappointed in the President's decision. At a time when Americans are facing a sluggish economy and nearly 9% unemployment, I find it inexplicable that the President would choose to prevent this project from moving forward.

The Keystone XL Pipeline could create upwards of 20,000 jobs and would be a much needed boost for the economy. I'm disappointed that this Administration has once again decided to put politics ahead of private sector economic stimulus for our country."
