Turner Expresses Frustration Over Obama's Keystone Pipeline Dodge

Statement

Date: Jan. 18, 2012
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Oil and Gas

Congressman Bob Turner released the following statement today in response to President Obama's move to avoid a decision on the Keystone pipeline:

"President Obama has decided to avoid making a decision on the Keystone Pipeline. The Keystone Pipeline would not only have put thousands of Americans back to work, but it would have also provided the United States with a steady supply of oil from one of our closest allies, Canada. Instead, we will have to continue to buy oil from less friendly nations, and thousands of Americans will remain out of work."
