Rep. Farenthold Disgusted with Do Nothing Senate

Press Release

Location: Washington, DC

Today, Congressman Blake Farenthold (TX-27) participated in a press conference with fellow freshman republican House colleagues to express his disgust in the Senate's failure to pass responsible legislation on the payroll tax cut extension, unemployment insurance and making sure doctors get proper Medicare reimbursements.

"I am very disappointed that the Senate continues the policies of the past kicking the can down the road and leaving for their Holiday vacations before getting the job done. I was elected to bring change to Washington and I will stay here until our work is finished. American job creators deserve certainty and a two month extension will only create further confusion in uncertain economic times. Americans deserve more and House Republicans are dedicated to working for them."
