Kline: White House, Senate Democrat Leadership Turn Back on Midwest Farmers, Livestock Producers

Location: Washington, DC

Congressman John Kline issued a statement today after the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2012 failed to ensure protection of farmers and livestock producers by delisting the gray wolf:

"It is outrageous that the White House and Senate Democrat leadership turned their backs on Midwest farmers and livestock producers by refusing to return wolf management to the states. We must cut through bureaucratic red tape and provide greater flexibility by giving states exclusive jurisdiction over the wolves within their own borders."
