Griffin Announces Formation of the Second District Veterans Advisory Committee

Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement in announcing the formation of the Second Congressional District Veterans Advisory Committee:

"I am honored to have over 30 veterans from all eight counties of the Second Congressional District serve on this advisory committee. I will lean on members of this advisory committee, as well as leaders from our Veterans Service Organizations, to give me their candid assessments on issues affecting Arkansas veterans."

The advisory committee will periodically meet with Rep. Griffin to discuss issues affecting veterans and the military, as well as specific legislation currently before Congress. Committee membership is comprised of veterans from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force, and includes both officers and enlisted men and women, as well as civilians with strong ties to the veterans community.
