I want to commend the Machinists Union members and their leadership for their important role in ensuring that Washington state remains a stronghold for aerospace jobs in years to come. This contract will make sure that going forward Boeing has the quality workforce it needs, the Machinists sustain good-paying jobs, and Washington state will continue to be the global leader in the aerospace industry. Congratulations to the Machinists Union and Boeing for reaching this important agreement."
