Turner Applauds NYPD for Terror Plot Bust

Congressman Bob Turner released the following statement about the arrest of terrorist Jose Pimentel:

"The arrest of suspected bomb maker Jose Pimentel in upper Manhattan this week is a reminder that there are still people actively looking to harm New Yorkers, soldiers and American citizens as a whole," Congressman Turner said.

"I commend Commissioner Kelly and the NYPD counter-terrorism officers for preventing yet another potentially deadly attack on our soil. Our state is still a prime target for terrorists who would like nothing more than to kill Americans. We must remain dedicated to ensuring that the brave men and women who protect the streets of New York have all the resources they need to keep us safe."
