U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) issued the following statement on the national unemployment figures released today:
"Any level of job creation is welcome news. Today's report is further proof that the private sector is the economic engine of our country, not bigger government. The continual threat of tax increases on our nation's job creators will not create the certainty they need to grow and hire. By passing pro-growth policies that lessen burdensome regulations, stop government over-spending, and reform the tax code, Congress can help bolster our nation's anemic economy and create the jobs Nevadans desperately need," said Senator Dean Heller.
