After much prayerful consideration, my family and I decided that there are several things that need to happen
to help alleviate some of the pressure we all are experiencing from government intrustion in our daily lives.
Many of you have expressed your concerns regarding the increased tax burden, the overreach of government regulations on business, and the lack of initiatives to promote faith and family. All of which directly affect our economic development in Mississippi. My concerns come from the point of view of a small business owner,
husband and father.
This is not a journey I would have sought naturally, but listening to folks in small groups talk about the problems
we face, I felt compelled to respond as did Isaiah of old, when asked, "Whom shall we send and who will go for
us?" My response is the same as his, "Here am I Lord, send me". Somebody needs to make a difference.
I want to be YOUR voice in Jackson. I can only do this as you share your thoughts and concerns to help equip
me to adequately represent you. It won't be an easy task, but I am sure that George Washington did not think
the task he undertook would be an easy one, but I, as he, feel compelled to accept the call and the challenge
to make a difference for all of Mississippi, but especially for those of us who live in House District 86.
I have some, but not all of the answers today, but I assure you that I will know the issues and answers before I
ever put my name or voice to a vote that does not benefit YOU.
I need your help. Sharing your concerns is important, but I need your financial support to get through the primary and then on to the general election in November. There will be lots to do to get out the vote. I can only make a difference for YOU when WE win in November. Call me, come by or contact me by email. I want to hear from you.
Thank you for your support!
