As your State Senator, I will always defend your constitutional rights, including your right to own and carry a firearm. The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution prohibits the federal government from infringing upon your right to keep and bear arms. The Virginia Constitution makes the same prohibition of the Commonwealth. As your State Senator, I will strongly oppose any law that attempts to infringe upon your right as a law-abiding citizen to keep and bear arms.
