Finally, after much ado, the House voted to pass the three pending free trade agreements with Colombia, Panama and South Korea. These bi-partisan supported trade agreements were included in the part of the President's jobs bill that is productive for job growth. These agreements level the playing field for American companies to export their products without being penalized by tariffs. American productivity, ingenuity and entrepreneurship is encouraged and rewarded through free trade. Free trade has provided South Texas companies with a no cost solution to job creation. I look forward to seeing full implementation of these free trade agreements.
