On Wednesday, I spoke at a press conference where Members of Congress received more than 1.6 million hand-signed petitions calling for repeal of last year's health care law. Earlier this year, the House voted for full repeal and over the past few months I have continued to highlight portions of the bill that add to health care costs and overstep constitutional barriers. While I believe that we need to repeal the poorly constructed Affordable Care Act, we can't stop there. We have to pass real health care reforms that reduces costs. We can do better with legislation to reform medical liability, allow competition across state lines, and give individuals the same tax treatment as businesses.
