Blog: Standing Up for Pro-Worker Policies

Since coming to Washington, I have made it crystal clear that we must ensure a fair workplace, free from intimidation and out-and-out threats, for all workers. I have introduced the Protecting Jobs From Government Interference Act (HR 2587), which passed the House last week, as well as sponsored the House-version of the Employee Rights Act (HR 2810).

To this end, I was proud to receive an A+ Rating from the Competitive Enterprise Institute's Congressional Labor Scorecard this week. It is imperative we provide a healthy environment for all workers, and I will continue to stand up for the rights of all workers as a member of Congress.

Additionally, the House continued to take on burdensome government relations by beginning debate on the TRAIN Act today, and I look forward to its passage before the end of the week.
