Republican Presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann made several campaign stops in and around Charlotte Thursday touting her fiscal and constitutional conservativeness.

Bachmann's main message: Voters can't settle for a moderate republican to clean up President Obama's mess.

"Barack Obama will be a one-term president," Bachmann said. "You can't cover up when he has done to the country."

Congresswoman Bachmann (R-MN) made her first stop at a home in the exclusive Providence Downs neighborhood for a fundraiser.

From there, Bachmann went to Troutman's Barbeque in Concord and spoke to a packed room of supporters.

"This is the election where we can't settle," Bachmann said. "It's the conservative that's going to win in this election."

Voter Di Bingle went to both locations to hear Bachmann speak.

"I've seen her on TV, but I wanted to meet in person and ask questions," Bingle said.

Topics included jobs and immigration.

Bachmann also talked about cutting taxes, getting rid of the EPA and Department of Education, repealing what she calls Obamacare and the potential of losing our economic superpower status to China because of a nearly $17 trillion debt.

"When we lose that ability to be an economic superpower, then we can no longer be that military power and our money then, because we are heavily indebted to China, goes to China in the form of interest payments," Bachmann said.

Bingle says she liked what she heard at both places.

"It was exactly the same thing," she said.

After spending half the day and driving plenty of miles for two Bachmann stump speeches, Bingle's candidate list is shrinking.

"Not 100 percent, but I'm like 95 percent," Bingle said, referring to her support of Bachmann.

She says her other favorite is businessman Herman Cain.
